Review: NICO, a different type of sexy

March 15, 2016

I don’t know about you but I’m kind of sick of being intimidated by my own underwear (the sexy stuff that is anyway). I’m sick of trying to battle against the discomfort of a studded bra or lacy knickers. There’s always a part that you need to clip in, zip up or charge over night and quite frankly it’s all just a little too much for me.

I personally feel my most comfortable in my big, stretchy undies that settle somewhere around my belly button. Sexy, I know. But NICO underwear have managed to create a product that meets this brief (get it?) while also keeping you feelin’ super sexy and chic.

Not only are they lovely and simple to look at but they are actually created here in Australia AND they use environmentally sustainable materials AND they are the very first underwear brand to gain accreditation with Ethical Clothing Australia AND they work super hard to ensure that their staff are treated and paid fairly. Does it get any better than that? Next thing you know they'll be giving out free foot rubs too.

“At the core of everything we do at NICO is a strong respect for the people we work with, and the environment we work within. We are conscious of the reputation of the fashion industry and strive to promote positive change.”

So if, like me, you're feeling kind of over 'sexy' undies then check out their stuff at or follow them on instagram @nicounderwear. They've got your basics covered.
